A LOVE-FILLED PAIR O’ BABY BOOTIES

Just yesterday I shared an awesome hooded sweater that I’d created, and as I had just a little yarn left (and it would be so lovely to gift a full set), I hunted for a pair of booties that would be perfect for this.. and here’s what I found.  I love not just the name (I mean Loopy Love ! How can you not like that, right?), but I also love the pattern.

Thank you for joining me.

In case you have just joined me, know that you can access all of my earlier creations by checking under ‘categories’ on the right hand side of this blog under “Labels”.  Then, for your convenience, follow me here or on Facebook, You Tube, Pinterest, Twitter or Instagram.

This is a free blog - so do pay it forward for me.  Cheers.

Once again, this is not my pattern but just my notes when I make my own exclusive and individual project.

Materials used : Today I’ve used the lovely Turkish ICE Batik yarn  (Lilac Orange Yellow Light Green # 29611) with a 4 mm crochet hook ; fabric glue to seal ends

This yarn is not specific for this project.
You can use any yarn with a suitable hook to make this project to any size.

For Indians : You could use Anchor , Red ros ; Red rose metallic or  unbranded  knitting cotton as well as Oswal or Vardhaman acrylic yarns

International yarns :  Among the international yarns I have used, I’d suggest Aunt Lydia Cotton 10, Aunt Lydia Bamboo-Viscose 10, DMC Petra, Sullivans knitting cotton (Australia), Milford Soft, Hilaza Rustica Eclat , Alize cotton yarn and Alize bamboo yarn.

In my patterns I work with the principle of stitch count and body measurement.  This means that you need to work the stitch count in pattern, till you get the measurement (length and/or width) that you need for your project.

For this cute cute lil pair of booties, I’ve used the Children’s slipper free pattern from Moogly at http://www.mooglyblog.com/loopy-love-newborn-baby-booties/
