I
have a lot of my family abroad, and all of them have a *winter*. I specify as I
am in Mumbai, where our winters certainly do not match up to winters anywhere
else in the world.. or for that matter to North India either. I thought I’d whip up some footwear with some
of my stash yarn and have gone a little crazy .. loving every moment of it,
of course

Materials used : 4-ply Oswal Acrylic yarn,
with a 4.5 mm
This yarn is not specific for this project.
You can use any yarn with a suitable hook to make this project to any size.
For Indians : You could use Anchor , Red rose ; Red rose metallic or unbranded knitting cotton as well as Vardhaman acrylic yarns

Abbreviations used :
lp(s) : Loop(s) sc : Single crochet
dc : Double crochet sp : Space
sl-st : Slip stitch ch : Chain
st(s) : Stitch(es) hk : Hook
yo : Yarn Over
Instructions : (Using U.S terminology)
Please note that I start all my rows with a ch 1, turning chain for ease.

Please read through all my notes before you pick up your hook, so you know just where we're heading in our pattern.
In my patterns I work with the principle of stitch count and body measurement. This means that you need to work the stitch count in pattern, till you get the measurement (length and/or width) that you need for your project.
I used two skeins held together all through mainly
because I’ve made this for someone who will need not just the warmth but the
thickness and softness that two skeins will provide.
This pattern links has shoes for every size – so go
ahead and create.
