free crochet pattern, sweetnothingscrochet, free crochet toy pattern, free crochet amigurumi pattern, free crochet kitten pattern, free crochet cat pattern, free crochet stuff toy pattern, Oswal Cashmilon yarn, 4mm crochet hook,

This is a pattern that has been sitting on my back burner for a really long time. I’m thrilled to work on it and share it with you here today.
Thank you for joining me in our fun creativity session.

Lumos (Harry Potter fans got it instantly, didn’t you?) is the really beautiful shining white that you get when that spell is cast – and I feel this kitty cat sure cast a spell on me!

Materials used : Today I’ve used some of our lovely Indian Oswal 4-ply yarns with a 3 mm crochet hook ; a little embroidery thread ; embroidery needle

Skill level : Intermediate.  Basic sewing skills needed.

Stitches used :
Magic circle :To refresh your skill, please view this easy video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLuSVyKvoUg

Chainless dc start : Instead of the usual start with ch 2 or ch 3, I’d like to introduce this lovely new way of starting a dc row.  Do take a look at this self-explanatory super video http://www.mooglyblog.com/chainless-starting-double-crochet/
In case you are unhappy with this start, or do not like it, do continue with the usual ch-2 or ch-3 start.  However, all instructions will be given assuming that you are using the chainless dc start.
