Please read through all my notes before you pick up your hook, so you know just where we're heading in our pattern.

In this blog I’ve made one headband, two flower motifs for tic tac clips, a heart shaped 3D keychain and a really cute little girl motif / applique.
Use one of the methods given above to add in beads as needed or add the beads in after you complete your project.

Cute girl applique /motif :

For the really cute little doll, check out the pattern at http://www.vendulkam.com/2013/11/sweet-girl-applique.html
Rather than stitch this beauty down, I thought she’d look lovely hanging off just about anything – so I have added a small loop at the back (stitched that in with a regular needle and thread after I completed the project, and worked in a blanket stitch – like you would for the eye of a hook).

This project came at the perfect time.. as I was looking for a cute little doll motif, and thanks to +Anju Mani, I found this when she shared it on one of my Facebook groups :)

Now with a safety pin, this can be attached onto the dress and the cute little swinging doll can hang free – She dangles pretty cutely off her really slender neck, just you see once you make it.

Flower motifs :
is where I went back for one of the cute plump tic-tac clips.

I used http://www.littledoolally.com/2014/03/mothers-day-flower-brooch.html, which I have used before, and just love.  The pattern instructions use UK terminology here, but in the designer has indicated which stitch in UK mean what in US terminology at the top of the blog.

Once again, if you decide to attach these flower motifs directly onto the dress, then you will embroider it in / stitch it down onto the dress directly.
If you decide to use this on a headband or anywhere else, may I suggest that you work in a small loop at the back, where you can thread in your metal headband, or a regular headband along with a safety pin.  Once again same thing that I’ve done for the doll.

Headband :

For this project, I re-used my Headband # 1 from this blog above.
I used a 3.5mm crochet hook for this project.

Heart Keychain Ideas :
For the little 3D heart, I used one of the patterns from my earlier blog https://shyamanivas.blogspot.in/2015/12/hearts-for-peyton-heart-project.html

I made two lil hearts,  then joined them together, and added a little poly-fill stuffing inside to make it slightly puffy and soft.  I finally attached it to a key chain ring at one end, and Voila! One cute heart key chain ready J
You can use any of the patterns from that blog, and basically do the same thing.

.. and then some more ideas
