X IS FOR … XMAS TREE

I’ve been working on some motifs that are going to be added onto blankets, in my case.  The blankets are meant for children undergoing chemotherapy and these little motifs will fun up a simple blanket and spread smiles.

The donation goes to Project Chemo Crochet (PCC) – an organization working towards spreading cheer for chemotherapy patients.  Read all about them on their webpage or Facebook page of the same name.

This is the last in this series of motifs headed to PCC.   However, you can be sure that we’re going to meet here again for more fun stuff that we’ll make together to spread a few smiles.

Materials used : Today I’ve used the lovely Indian Oswal Cashmilon 4-ply acrylic yarn with a 4 mm crochet hook

General yarn info : The yarn used today is not specific to this pattern.

You can use any yarn with a suitable hook to make this project to any size.

International yarns :  Among the international yarns I have used, I’d suggest Aunt Lydia Cotton 10, Aunt Lydia Bamboo-Viscose 10, DMC Petra, Sullivans knitting cotton (Australia), Milford Soft, Hilaza Rustica Eclat , Alize cotton yarn and Alize bamboo yarn.
