STUNNING DOILEY
Just could not get this picture out of my mind.. so I just *had* to make it. I am also lucky that I had this absolutely superb gold metallic yarn that was begging to be used.. now how can one resist all this “wonderfulness”, right?
While I've made several doilies and table runners, this is the first one I've written notes down for.. and blogged about.. so pretty thrilled.
I found the chart on a pinterest board, but there was no photograph of the completed project.. well, there’s one now.. and then you will join and add yours too.. so yaay!
Thank you for joining me.
In case you have just joined me, know that you can access all of my earlier creations by checking under ‘categories’ on the right hand side of this blog under “Labels”. Difficulty level : Intermediate crochet skills
Materials used : Today I’ve used a gold metallic cotton yarn from Red Rose, with a 2.5 mm crochet hook to make this lovely 24” diameter round.
For Indians : You can use Anchor knitting cotton, White rose knitting cotton or Pony knitting cottons with a suitable hook to make this pattern.
For international yarns : The other international yarns that I've used in this thickness include Aunt Lydia cotton 10, Sullivans (Australia) knitting cotton and Milford cotton (Spotlight).
General yarn information : You do not need to use just these yarns. You can use any yarn with a suitable hook to make this project. The thicker the yarn, the larger your project.
