AN EASY Reuse - Recycled PROJECT

This is just a quick little project reusing what you have probably seen and thrown away in the past.  Now that you see this project, you’ll be saving this little thing and making this quick project for friends and family.
Come on along and let’s see what we’re doing today.

Thank you for joining me.

In case you have just joined me, know that you can access all of my earlier creations by checking under ‘categories’ on the right hand side of this blog under “Labels”.

Then, for your convenience, follow me here or on Facebook, You Tube, Pinterest, Twitter or Instagram

Oh, and may I add that the fastest way to find any of my blogs is via Pinterest.

When you click any of the links above, you'll go to that page, and to return here, just hit the back arrow on the left hand side of the page you are on.

All my blogs can be printed.  Find the printer friendly (green) link at the bottom of this blog.  You can also hit Control P (or Command P for Mac) on your keyboard, and the blog will go directly to the connected printer.

Remember that you only print if absolutely essential.  Save paper – Save Our Earth.

Do remember to add my blog URL when you make and show off your creation.

(Just copy the link on the top of the search bar - that's the blog URL)

Cheers.  Enjoy ☺

I am sure you have seen this little thing that’s the little plastic thing that holds things together at the supermarket.  I got mine off a pair of oven mitts.  This little bit of plastic held the two together and then was hanging off the rack.

So that’s all we need today – and a bit of yarn with your crochet hook.

All I did was thread my yarn through the hole on the top like this.

I then started with a slip knot in the free end of the yarn and worked a few chain.  How many chain? It depends on how long or low you want this hanging.
So take it to the cupboard that you are going to hang this creation from and see how long it needs to be.
You basically need only a chain length that will go through and around the cupboard handle to secure.

So once you have the length of chain worked out (remember this number for evenness), all you do is go around to the yarn on the other side of this little plastic holder and work the same number of yarn that you worked for Side 1 (or till the centre).

Once done, slip stitch to attach and neatly weave in ends.

Voila ! You’re done.

One cute little plastic holder that your kitchen towel can hang off.

Now with this kitchen towel (that I’ve used and photographed), I just looped it into the label piece but some towels have a small bit that you can use to hang onto as well.  Be creative and find what works for you.

Thanks for recycling, reusing and saving Our Universe.

Enjoyed this ?? I sure did.. Come back right here for more freebie patterns
