we started with our “D crochet motifs” meant as stationery clip toppers. Today we’ll work on our “D for Dog” motif,

Materials used : Today I’ve used our lovely Anchor
knitting cotton yarn with a 1.3 / 1.7.5 mm crochet hook
General yarn info : The yarn used today is not specific to this
pattern.
You can use any yarn with
a suitable hook to make this project to any size.
Difficulty level : Intermediate

Instruction information
I’ve
made this project before – as a larger motif using 4-ply acrylic yarn. That motif has gone to Project Chemo Crochet
and will be attached onto a blanket intended for a toddler undergoing
chemotherapy.
Using
that very same pattern and a thinner thread and hook, I’ve made this smaller
version for a stationery clip topper.

For
the eyes, I’ve used a pair of beads. You
can work a French knot embroidery stitch as well.
