YIN YANG TOWEL RING HOLDER 2
I’ve made a simpler Yin Yang motif before.. several in fact – I’ve made these motifs and turned them into jewelry and stationery pins as well – and today I found yet another one that looks like a yin-yang and I’ve made this into a towel ring holder / topper

Materials used : Today I’ve used some silk polyester purse yarn with a 4 mm crochet hook, a ring (to hold your towel).
For Indians : You could use Anchor knitting cotton or Red rose knitting cotton as well.
General yarn info : The yarn used today is not specific to this pattern.
You can use any cotton yarn with a suitable hook to make this project to any size.

Please note that I start all rows with a ch 1 turning chain for ease.

Today we have four parts to our creation – making the lovely little yin yang motif, preparing the ring, the holding chain and then finishing and putting it all together.
As this is a yin yang motif, I’ve used black and white yarn
Part 1 : Yin Yang motif
Go to https://www.liveinternet.ru/users/3824100/post359896272/ for the Yin yang motif idea. It’s two inter twined circles – and you work them in the two colors to get the effect.

Part 2 : Covering the ring or bangle
I used the white yarn to cover my bangle.
But basically using any yarn, work one round of sc all around the ring, just like we did in yesterday’s creation.
To do this, you start with a slip knot around the ring and then work sc all around.
How do you work sc around the bangle / ring? Like you usually work an sc, but you work the hook around the bangle and then grab your yarn to work the sc.

Part 3 : The holding chain
I worked with the white yarn for the holding chain and I had a small black ring that I have used for the centre of my holding chain.
For today’s creation, once again, I worked a total of about 45 chain and attached this from the bangle / ring.
In my case, as I attached that small black ring, I worked 20 chain, then worked 5 sc around the ring to secure it to the centre, and then 20 chain again and fastened it to the adjacent leaf.
This is an option, if you find a small ring that works for you.
This ring will then hold my creation onto the hook on the wall.
Part 4 : Finishing and Putting it all together
Place the beautiful yin yang motif in front of your prepared ring and neatly attach.
I used an embroidery needle
Please use the photograph as a guide.
Before you fasten off, please hold your creation up with the ring or centre of chain and see that it holds.
Secure your towel holder onto the wall and hang your towel through and smile. This is a beautiful project , isn’t it?
Make it using any yarn and any hook that’s suitable for that yarn.
