( #Blogaday 06/365 )
Welcome back again to my blogs on
cute tiny toy furniture. I do hope you
are having as much fun as I am with all these tiny little creations. If you have just joined my blogs, then this is my fourth blog on tiny little toy furniture and at the end of this blog there are links for all the ones before and lots of other stuff I've made.
As you know, I’ve been making a
living room of furniture for my friend, so lets see what I have come up with in
this part of the series.
Thank you for joining me.
In case you have just joined me, know that you can access all of my earlier creations by checking under ‘categories’ on the right hand side of this blog under “Labels”. Then, for your convenience, follow me here or on Facebook, You Tube, Pinterest, Twitter or Instagram.

Oh, and may I add that the fastest way to find any of my blogs is via Pinterest.
All my blogs can be printed. Find the printer friendly (green) link on the right side of this blog. You can also hit Control P (or Command P for Mac) on your keyboard, and the blog will go directly to the connected printer.
Remember that you only print if absolutely essential. Save paper – Save Our Earth.
Do remember to add my blog URL when you make and show off your creation.
Just copy the link on the search bar above - that's the blog URL.
To purchase this or similar yarn online, click the highlighted links below to buy your yarns online via Amazon. While you will still pay the same, I may get paid by Amazon as well.
This is a free blog - so do pay it forward for me. Cheers.

Please note that I start all my rows with a ch 1, turning chain for ease.
Please check the top of this blog for easy video tutorials on all stitches used in today's pattern. For your convenience there video tutorials through the blog too
Please read through all my notes before you pick up your hook, so you know just where we're heading in our pattern.
In my patterns I work with the principle of stitch count and body measurement.
This means that you need to work the stitch count in pattern, till you get the measurement (length and/or width) that you need for your project.
In this blog, I worked on some living room
furniture and then some tiny accessories, and as I've shown you in my earlier blog, this is the full range of stuff that I'd made. .. for the inside of the house. For the outside, I'd also designed two small Christmas trees (also on my blog - so check link at the end of this blog)
1.
OTHER LIVING ROOM
FURNITURE
For the cute little couch, foot stool, rugs, table lamp and table, I’ve used the pattern from this book. I find that it’s available at
Enjoy the photos that I've taken off all this splendid stuff
For the standing lamp, I used the pattern for the ‘light bulb’ & lampshade off the table lamp pattern here, attached it to a little post to the whole thing and ta da, got something different done !
This is the footstool
This is the lovely rug
This is the sofa .. the cushions are from the earlier blog
This is the lower part of the sofa
These are the square cushions that go on top of the sofa
This is just me showing off....
These are more cushions.. and more showin' off
The three-piece afghan is also from the same link and I just decided to make one more solo to go on top of the brown futon (shared in yesterday's blog) as my friend has one just like that on her side futon.

SMALL FLOWER VASE with
FLOWERS
Finally in one corner of her living room, neatly
tucked away is a beautiful vase with a lovely floral arrangement. I thought I’d make her that too ( ;) .. so
come along on our final journey for this blog.
Materials Used : I’ve
used our Indian Anchor knitting cotton yarn with a 1.3 mm crochet hook ; the
lid of a small bottle of Fevicol glue and finally some insoluble glue.
Size : 1.5” tall ;
1.5” wide ; 5” across
Start : with
a magic circle and 12 dc in that circle.
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st.
Round 1 : sc-blo
in the 1st dc and in each dc all around.
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st.
This forms the bottom rim of your flower vase
From the following round, I have chosen not to
join with a sl-st and work in continuous rounds.
Round 2 - 7 : sc
in the 1st sc and in each sc all around.
For our final round, let’s work a definitive
round of Reverse Single Crochet or crab stitch.
Round 8 : Crab
stitch in the 1st sc and in each sc all around.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
FLOWERS & LEAVES : For
the flowers, leaves etc inside my little flower vase, I’ve used ready made leaves and the stamens that one uses for making stocking net flowers. You can make tiny little flowers using your
coloured yarn as well, so go a little crazy, create and enjoy.
