For our lovely leg warmer today, I have used the free pattern from Ravelry at https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/shells--cords-leg-warmers

What did I do differently?  Not all that much.

Foundation Single Crochet : fsc :  https://youtu.be/mcT85fwh4mA

I started with 10 fsc instead of chain, as I feel that the fsc affords a better stretch always, but for this particular pattern, I’d say (especially if you are struggling with fsc), then it does not really matter that much.
It’s for that start ribbed end only, so not that crucial for stretch.

I then worked the pattern as given, though my yarn was different.
I was lucky that the numbers all worked out for me.

I’m not sure, but methinks there’s a small typo.  The designer says we’ll work in rounds, but the pattern then reads Row.. which is ok – just a typo.

But if we are working in rounds, we will work the fpdc over the earlier fpdc always.. no need to struggle with a bpdc.
Well, anyway, that’s what I did.. I worked fpdc over fpdc and the “shell pattern” in the shells all through.

Enjoyed this ?? I sure did..come back right here for more freebie patterns
