CANTED SQUARES

Thank you for joining me as I make the last set in this series. I think I am going to make this set into cushion covers. These gorgeous creations will be the front and I'll add a plain colored material for the back with closures.
These squares can be made into many things limited only by your creativity.

In case you have just joined me, know that you can access all of my earlier creations by checking under ‘categories’ on the right hand side of this blog under “Labels”.  Then, for your convenience, follow me here or on Facebook, You Tube, Pinterest, Twitter or Instagram.

What I loved about this project is that we work with front and back loops all through - so the back of work is very neat , without any holes or spaces.
That said, the whole project base is in single crochet, so it does take time to 'grow'.

The pattern uses a simple stitches in a special way to make it look like a lot more work than it is and once you get the pattern going, you can just carry on and make it to any size.

I worked mine till I had a 16" x 16" (or ~ 40 cm) cushion cover fronts.
Of course, there is the option of using them as doilies or table decoration too.
