HEART LUGGAGE TAG

Heart Luggage Tag - a free crochet pattern from Sweet Nothings Crochet

Travel luggage all looks very similar - especially as it tumbles down the baggage carousel - and in our travel-tired mood, it's always good if we can identify your luggage quickly - so here's a lovely heart shaped luggage tag that will make your luggage look very cute and save you a big bother too.

I've found a heart shaped motif and today I'm tweaking it to make it a baggage tag. Thank you for joining me.

So I've worked this pattern all the way till Round 3 and then ended by joining with a sl-st to the 1st st.
The heart motif
You'll see that you are at one end of the first heart 'lobe'.
The first half of the heart lobe
So first sl-st all the way to the centre (or top point of heart between the two lobes).
Work a long chain in the centre of the heart
I then worked a long chain (75 ch sts) and then sl-st back into the same st you started from
Crab stitch worked all around to finish
I then worked the rsc (reverse single crochet) st all the way around
Crab Stitch or Reverse Single Crochet stitch : https://youtu.be/cG3crwyHPnk
Join with a sl-st to finish
join with a sl-st to the 1st st
