We will now shape the ear.
We will work in front loops only for the first few sts to form the ear
Ear Row 1 : (in front loops only) : 2 dc in the 1st st ; dc in the next st ; 2 dc in the next st. Turn
Ear Row 2 : (in both loops) : dc in the 1st 4 sts ; 3 dc in the last st. Turn

Ear Row 3 : dc 3-tog over the 1st 3 sts ; dc in the next 2 sts ; dc 2-tog over the last 2 sts. Turn
Ear Row 4 : dc 3-tog over all the 3 sts. Turn and work sc or sl-st all the way down the ear ; sl-st in the last dc of ear
Note : Remember to work 2 sts in each horizontal bar of dc all the way down.
Do NOT cut yarn. We will continue around face to create the nose

(We will finish the nose and then carry on to finish the bottom of the face)
hdc 2-tog over the 1st 2 sts ; hdc in the next st ; hdc 2-tog over the next 2 sts ;
Turn and sl-st all the way down to the face ;
sl-st in the next st on face ;
sc in the next st ; hdc in the next 2 sts ;
dc in each st till the last 3 dc ;
dc in the back loop of the last 3 dc behind ear.
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for attachment
EYES :
The eyes have several parts to it : the white, then a pink layer, blue layer and finally the white dots or shine. We will then attach to the face and add in the lashes.
Part 1:
Start Round 1 : (with white) with a magic circle and work 12 hdc in that circle.
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (12 hdc)
Round 2 : (with white) : 2 hdc in each st all around
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (24 hdc)
Round 3 : (with white) : 2 hdc in the 1st st ; hdc in the next st ;
(2 hdc in the next st ; hdc in the next st) ;
rep (to) all around
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (36 hdc)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for attachment
Part 2:
Start Round 1 : (with pink) with a magic circle and work 12 dc in that circle.
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (12 dc)
Round 2 : (with pink) : 2 dc in each st all around
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (24 dc)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for attachment
Part 3:
Start Round 1 : (with black) with a magic circle and work 12 dc in that circle.
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (12 dc)
Round 2 : (with black) : 2 dc in each st all around
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (24 dc)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for attachment
Part 4:
Start Round 1 : (with white) with a magic circle and work 8 sc in that circle.
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (8 sc)
Round 2 : (with white) : 2 sc in each st all around
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (16 dc)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for attachment
Part 5:
Start Round 1 : (with white) with a magic circle and work 8 sc in that circle.
Join with a sl-st to the 1st st. (8 sc)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for attachment
PUTTING THE EYES TOGETHER :
Look at the photo for guidance
1) Attach the whites of the eyes (Part 5) onto the black bit of the eye.
2) Slide the pink (Part 4) such that only a sliver shows along one side and attach that down
3) Attach the black + pink part of eye onto the white of the eye.
4) Attach the white of the eye down onto the face
5) Using an embroidery needle and black colored yarn, embroider in eyelashes.
