ADORABLE CROCHET LOVE APPLE AMIGURUMI
This is a special order – really cute apples with letters stitched onto it. Come along with me on this fun creativity session today. Let’s discover something new.
Materials used : Today I’ve used some of our lovely Indian Oswal 4-ply yarns with a 3.5 mm crochet hook ; a little 4-ply knitting cotton ; embroidery needle
Skill level : Intermediate. Basic sewing skills needed.
Stitches used :
Magic circle : To refresh your skill, please view this easy video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLuSVyKvoUg
Chainless dc start : Instead of the usual start with ch 2 or ch 3, I’d like to introduce this lovely new way of starting a dc row. Do take a look at this self-explanatory super video http://www.mooglyblog.com/chainless-starting-double-crochet/
In case you are unhappy with this start, or do not like it, do continue with the usual ch-2 or ch-3 start. However, all instructions will be given assuming that you are using the chainless dc start.

For this darling little apple I have used the Ambrosia by Drops Design pattern at https://www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?id=5888&cid=17#pattern_content
For the alphabets, there are several free blogs. Check out http://www.mooglyblog.com/the-moogly-crochet-alphabet/
Or this video for A,B,C at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jq7jTPoFV8c
Make each alphabet individually and attach it onto the apple with an embroidery needle.
For stuffing, I thought I'd push the stuffing into a stocking net first and then use the stocking net balls instead of just stuffing the poly fill directly into the little apples. This is not my idea - I read it somewhere on the internet.
Here are my tiny stocking net ball.....

I love art and craft - and am grateful for this hobby that keeps me busy and out of 'mischief'.
We (as a family) are also staunch protectors of stray animals and will continue to do our bit to make this a safe world for them.
We strongly believe in R-R-R and several of my projects will show this.
