Materials used : I have used the lovely Moda Vera Starlight  acrylic yarn , with a 4 mm crochet hook   ; beads ; pearls ; a belt buckle fabric glue to seal ends neatly

For Indians : You could use Anchor , Red ros or unbranded knitting cotton as well as Vardhaman acrylic yarns
General yarn info : The yarn used today is not specific to this pattern.
You can use any yarn with a suitable hook to make this project to any size.

What did I do differently?
I decided to make this pacifier leash into a belt – so all I did was extend the pattern a bit.
The original pattern starts with 45 sts and the designer said it was 8” long.  I wanted 32” for my belt, so I worked (45 x 4) stitches to start.  I then just followed the pattern all the way to the end.

I added a bead in the centre of each star stitch – in that ch-1 sp which comes after you pick up the first four sts and before you work the second half of the same star stitch.

I did not change colours, but worked the loops as given. I then attached a blingy bling end which will loop through to hold the sash in place around the waist.

I think this is a fab starry sash – don’t you agree ?

I guess if we start with a buckle belt at one end and then work the pattern to finish that will work too.. for another day.. unless you are gonna try that.. do let me know how that worked out.  Tag me when you share your beautiful sash/belt , won’t you ?

Hope you had fun creating this wonderful starry sash or belt.
Oh and do remember to credit both the original designer and then me (for the tweak  ;) ) when you show off this lovely creation too.
